My goal with this project is to connect all the work I have done up until this point, so that those who are unfamiliar can get acquainted with my sound. For those of you who are familiar, I think you will really enjoy these Instrumentals. I didn't just mute the vocals, in some cases i completely remixed and rearranged the beats to give the listener a more dynamic experience. Playground is one of my favorites, me and Cole recorded that during the early stages of "The Warm Up" but it didn't fit in with the final track listing. It's a great song though, and I'm happy to finally let you all hear it! Holy Omen was featured on Omen's "Delayed" mixtape sampler, but it's my first real appearance on the mic, so I wanted to share it on this project as well. Expect a lot more of this in the future, and on my next mixtape (currently in progress) entitled "Elite That's Me". I also decided to finally release The Original Version of Shootouts. Now you can hear for your self how I removed the sample and completely reworked the beat! Enjoy!

I'm really proud of this joint, and extremely appreciative of it as well. This is just a taste of what is to come !!!! Also, that logo is crazy lol.

Here's a tape put together by Dj Tay James and J. Tinsley for Collegeradiomusic.com with a small assist by yours truly which gives you a blend of old and some new J. Cole music to bring people up to speed. Personally I love this mixtape takes me back to songs i don't get to listen to as often and also reminds me how long and how much work has been put in by Cole to get to where is now. Think of this as the pre game stretch before actually hitting the lay up line and getting your warm up on for the game, you get the point. With the Warm Up coming June 15th this should be a good listen to get people ready. Enjoy

Its been a while since anyone posted on here, gotta excuse us been working on finishing up "The Warm Up". The Tape is well worth the wait, I can honestly say that this is something as a fan of music that is refreshing and much needed. Were looking for a June 15th release date as well as information coming up on the mixtape release party in Nyc and one in Fayetteville, NC. Stick with us people, its been hectic and fun and I hope you enjoy what we are offering you. 

This is some real shit, Will I Am paid for FOUR underprivileged dreamers to go to college. Would be amazin to be able to do some shit like that. This is really inspiring. Dream on Dreamers!!!!!

As You probably have seen many J. Cole interviews on this blog (as You should), this "Follow Up" interview is definetly one I feel you need to check out. I'll let Cole say it in his own words as I stole this from his blog :

This is easily one of the most remarkable music related projects I have ever seen. I sincerely hope whoever put this together gets a Grammy or some sort of recognition beyond some blog posts lol. True music captured in a way you always dreamed of but never heard before, this is technology at it's FINEST.

So the first release from J. Cole since the Roc Nation deal is coming real soon. It's called "The Warm Up". I can honestly say it's the best mixtape I have ever heard. Maybe I'm biased, but I don't give a fuck that's how I honestly feel lol.

It's not a mixtape, I can't bare to call it that. It really is an album, it's better than what we are all used to, it's inspiring, it's invigorating, it's timeless music man. If for some reason you don't feel what Cole is bringing to the table musically, then you have got to at least admire his story.

Always a great interview, but this one was especially good. If you haven't read up on Cole yet, now is the time and this is the article. I promise it will be worth your 5 minutes of time!

Now onto the Trailer. I mean... Damn. Goosebumps. Shit like this keeps me going as a musician, creatively, this is fuel for anyone trying to realise their dreams. Enjoy.
